# Contextual Targeting Campaigns

Contextual Targeting campaigns allow you to target your campaign to run on web pages and beside other ads that are most relevant to the customers you are targeting. Generate your category list by specifying common keywords, phrases, lookalike URLs, and objectives. Reach audiences without sacrificing consumer privacy, by targeting relevant ads and aligning inventory with advertiser targeting objectives.

After creating this type of campaign, your contextual targeting configuration will be reviewed by 6sense and the information will be used to serve the campaign in the context you have chosen. Note that this process will take about one week to process before your campaign is launched.

To access Campaigns, click on the **Advertising icon** on the left navigation bar.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** You must be a Primary Admin, Admin, or Marketing User to create campaigns.

## Create a New Campaign

1. Click **Create New Campaign** in the top right of the page, then select **6sense** **Contextual Targeting** from the list of campaign types and click **Create Now**.
2. Enter a **name** for your campaign.
3. Choose a **folder** to save the campaign to in the top right (optional).

5. The setup process for the campaign follows the same steps as a 6sense Ads Campaign. View these steps in detail [here](/knowledge-base/4405026813971-Creating-a-6sense-Ads-Campaign#basic-setup-0-1).
6. Under the Advanced Targeting tab, all configurations are the same as a 6sense Ads Campaign, except for Contextual Targeting.

1. Select one or more topics. 6sense will only show your ads on pages that are relevant to your selected topics.
2. Continue campaign set-up per usual.

A defined set of accounts or contacts used for targeted marketing and sales efforts.
