Integrate Sales Intelligence with Gong

Overview

6sense Sales Intelligence integrates with Gong Engage to help revenue teams act on intent signals faster, more effectively, and add contacts to Gong Flows. This integration supports two primary use cases:

  • Sales Engagement Platform (SEP) Integration

  • 6sense iFrame in Gong

  • Add contacts to Gong Flows

Use Case 1: 6sense iFrame in Gong Engage

Enable users to access 6sense and activate 6sense-collected prospect intent activities directly in Gong Engage.

Benefits

  • Explore high-value intent activities such as de-anonymized web visits, keywords researched, form fills, and more directly from the Account page in Gong Engage.

  • Identify key members of the buying committee via the 6sense Persona Map, and purchase contact info from 6sense.

  • Better personalize sales outreach based on high-value intent signals, leading to more closed-won opportunities and revenue.

  • Reduce time spent swiveling between Gong and 6sense, increasing prospecting throughput and reducing Average Time to Close.

The 6sense Sales Intelligence integration enables users to personalize communications and activate 6sense-collected prospect intent activities directly in Gong Engage.

Use Case 2: Sales Engagement Platform Integration

Seamlessly push high-intent contacts from 6sense into Gong Engage Flows, enabling reps to take immediate action without switching platforms.

Benefits:

  • Instantly add high-intent contacts from 6sense to Gong Engage Flows.

  • View, purchase, and push contacts within 6sense or the Gong iFrame to streamline prospecting.

  • Accelerate deal velocity by engaging contacts at the right time with fewer delays.

Requirements

  • A 6sense Sales Intelligence subscription.

  • Your user account must have Admin permission at Sales Intelligence > Settings > User Management > SI > Lite.

  • A Gong Engage subscription.

  • Oauth credentials for Gong.

  • Only users with 6sense Sales Seats will be able to log in to the 6sense Sales Intelligence iFrame inside of Gong Engage.

Enable an OAuth connection

The steps to enable an OAuth are the same for Sales Engagement Platform and 6sense iFrame in Gong . If you’ve already completed the steps for one, you don’t need to repeat them.

  1. Go to Settings in 6sense.

  2. Select All Integrations.

  3. In Sales Enablement Platforms or 6sense iFrame in Gong section, choose Gong.Overview of various sales engagement platforms and their functionalities for improving efficiency.

  4. Select Connect to send a request to Gong Engage.

  5. Select Sign into Gong Engage.

  6. Enter email ID and password of Gong Engage’s OAuth credentials.

  7. Select Allow to allow 6sense to access Gong APIs to complete authentication.

  8. Select Next.

    Once authorized, 6sense will display a confirmation and allow you to remove the connection if needed.

  9. After authorization, return to 6sense ABM Settings to confirm the connection. You can manage or remove the integration from this screen.

Enable the SI connection for 6sense iFrame

Next, enable the connection in 6sense.

  1. Enable the Activate 6sense Sales Intelligence iFrame configuration toggle.

  1. The 6sense Sales Intelligence iFrame automatically installs in Gong Engage.

  2. Log in to Gong Engage to view 6sense data through Sales Intelligence.

    • Navigate to any Account in Gong Engage.

    • Select the 6sense tab.

    • Log in using 6sense credentials to view account details from 6sense.

    • Upon a successful login, the Account details page appears in the respective account.

Disable the SI connection

If, in the future, you wish to disable the 6sense iFrame integration, contact 6sense support for assistance.

Add Contacts to Gong Flows

Once the integration is enabled, users can manually export contacts to Gong Flows from 6sense Sales Intelligence.

Step 1: Select Contacts

  1. Navigate to any export location in 6sense Sales Intelligence:

    1. Discovery

    2. Contact Profile

    3. Company Page

    4. 6sense iframe or Chrome Extension

  2. Select one or more contacts to export.

Step 2: Export to Gong Engage

  1. Select Export.

  2. Choose Export to Gong Engage from the dropdown.

This option appears only if the Gong integration is enabled and the contact exists in your CRM.

Step 3: Choose a Gong Flow

Select a Gong Flow from the available list:

  • Personal Flows – owned by individual users.

  • Company/Shared Flows – available to your organization.

If a flow is marked Exclusive, contacts in that flow cannot be added to any other flow until they are removed.

Step 4: Confirm Export

  1. Review the selected contacts and the target Gong Flow.

  2. Confirm the export. The contacts will be added to the selected flow.

Exporting contacts to Gong Flows does not use 6sense enrichment credits.
