6sense provides Audience Workflow templates for common workflow scenarios. You can easily modify the templates by configuring nodes, changing third-party platforms, deleting nodes, or adding nodes.

Use the templates

To use the Audience Workflow templates:

  1. From the ABM menu, select Audience Workflows.

  2. From the Workflows List, at the top right corner click Create.

  3. Browse the template library and select a template.

  4. In the Create Workflow popup, name your workflow.

  5. Add the segment to use.

  6. If needed, select the Category (6sense model) to use.

  7. Define the schedule.

  8. Click Save. The new workflow opens.

  9. On the canvas, nodes that are not configured are indicated by a yellow border. Go to each one and configure it for your Segment and needs.

  10. You can modify, delete, or add nodes as needed.

The following sections describe each template.

Go-to-Market templates

Re-engage Dormant Audience template

The Re-engage Dormant Audience template helps you contact accounts that have not been recently active. It evaluates whether audiences have engaged in certain activities and if so, either sends an email or pushes a display ad.

Prerequisites

  • A pre-existing 6sense Email campaign that speaks to this use case.

  • A 6sense Ads campaign configured specifically in this workflow.

  • Integration and permission to add an audience in Salesloft Cadence. You can change this to a comparable SEP.

Competitive Takeout template

The Competitive Takeout template uses accounts that are researching your competitors and targets them with competitive ads. It looks at whether accounts are in the late or early stage, and whether there was research conducted (using keywords) about competitors. The workflow pushes late-stage accounts to a Salesloft campaign. It pushes early-stage accounts to a 6sense display ad campaign. If accounts respond to a display ad, the workflow pushes them to a Marketo campaign.

Prerequisites

  • An Ads campaign configured specifically for this workflow.

  • Integration and permission to add an audience in Salesloft Cadence. You can change this to a comparable SEP.

  • A pre-configured Marketo campaign.

Full Funnel Engagement template

The Full Funnel Engagement template splits accounts from segment according to early or late stage and automates follow-up activities.

  • The workflow pushes early-stage accounts to both a 6sense display ad campaign and to a Marketo as a list. If the account engages with the display ad, the workflow pushes it to a campaign. If the account does not engage, the workflow pushes it to a LinkedIn campaign and removes it from the 6sense ad campaign. If the account engages with LinkedIn, the workflow pushes it to a Conversational Email campaign. If the account did not engage with LinkedIn, the workflow removes it from the LinkedIn: Early Stage list.

  • The workflow pushes late-stage accounts to both an SEP campaign and a 6sense display ad campaign, plus it finds out how many contacts from that account are in the CRM. If there are less than 10 contacts in the CRM, the workflow purchases contacts and saves them to the CRM.

  • A pre-existing 6sense Email campaign that speaks to this use case.

  • A 6sense display ads campaign configured specifically in this workflow.

  • A LinkedIn campaign.

  • Integration with Marketo and a pre-configured Marketo campaign.

  • Integration and permission to add an audience in Salesloft Cadence. You can change this to a comparable SEP.

  • Integration with a CRM.

Deal Acceleration template

The Deal Acceleration template engages accounts that are open opportunities that are taking longer than expected to close.

The workflow checks the segment for accounts that have been open opportunities for more than 30 days. It then checks whether those accounts researched any competitor keywords. If so, it pushes the accounts to both a 6sense display ad campaign and a LinkedIn campaign. After 45 days, it removes the accounts from the campaigns.

Prerequisites

  • A 6sense display ads campaign configured specifically for this workflow.

  • A LinkedIn campaign.

Drive Webinar Attendance template

The Drive Webinar Attendance template helps promote an upcoming webinar.

The workflow checks whether accounts are a good profile fit, strong or moderate. If either, the workflow pushes a 6sense display ad campaign and a Marketo campaign. Then it waits and performs the same test again. If a strong fit, the workflow removes accounts from the display ad and Marketo campaigns and pushes them to a Salesloft campaign for last-minute pricing. If a moderate fit, the workflow removes accounts from the display ad and Marketo campaigns and pushes them to a LinkedIn campaign for last-minute pricing.

Prerequisites

  • A 6sense display ads campaign configured specifically for this workflow. The example is for early-bird pricing.

  • A LinkedIn campaign for last-minute pricing.

  • Integration with Marketo and a pre-configured Marketo campaign for early-bird pricing.

  • Integration and permission to add an audience in Salesloft Cadence, and a campaign for last-minute pricing. You can change this to a comparable SEP.

Audience Activation templates

Push People to SEP template

Adds people records from a 6sense segment to your Sales Engagement Platform.

Prerequisites

  • Integration and permission to add an audience in Salesloft Cadence.

Push People to CRM Campaign template

Adds people records from a 6sense Segment to your CRM campaign.

Prerequisites

  • Integration and permission to add contacts in Salesforce.

    • You can modify the node to allow leads instead of contacts.

  • A Salesforce campaign.

New Audience Creation templates

Purchase People and Push to MAP Static List template

Purchases contacts from 6sense and exports them to a Marketo static list.

Prerequisites

  • Integration and permission to add contacts in Marketo.

  • A Marketo static list.

  • A mapping profile that matches 6sense fields to Marketo fields.

  • 6sense credits allocated to the Audience Workflows application for purchasing contacts. See Distribute Credits Between Applications.

Purchase & Save People to MAP template

Purchases contacts from 6sense and exports them to a MAP.

Prerequisites

Purchase & Push People to SEP Campaign template

Purchases people records from 6sense, saves them to the CRM that is integrated with your ABM, and pushes them to Salesloft Sequence.

Prerequisites

  • Integration and permission to add contacts in your CRM.

  • A mapping profile that matches 6sense fields to CRM fields.

  • Integration and permission to add an audience in Salesloft Cadence.

  • 6sense credits allocated to the Audience Workflows application for purchasing contacts. See Distribute Credits Between Applications.

Purchase and Save to CSV template

Purchases contacts and exports them to a CSV file. A popup panel lets you select which fields to export.

Purchase and Push to Conversational Email template

Purchase and export people records to a Conversational Email campaign. The workflow saves the contacts to a CRM, in this case Salesforce. Then the workflow waits for 12 hours and pushes the contacts to a Conversational Email campaign.

Prerequisites

  • Integration with Salesforce CRM.

  • A pre-existing Conversational Email campaign that speaks to your use case.

  • 6sense credits allocated to the Audience Workflows application for purchasing contacts. See Distribute Credits Between Applications.

Purchase and Save People to CRM template

Purchases and saves people records to a CRM.

Prerequisites

Create New Accounts in CRM template

Creates new accounts in your CRM.

Prerequisites

  • Integration with a CRM.

  • Custom match rules in ABM > Settings.

  • A mapping profile that matches 6sense fields to CRM fields. The mapping profile must include the 6sense name, display domain, and country fields.

Purchase and Push People to CRM Campaign template

Purchases contacts, saves them to Salesforce, waits 12 hours, and pushes them to a Salesforce Campaign. You can change contacts to leads but cannot use both in the same node.

Push Accounts to LinkedIn Campaign template

Exports accounts to a LinkedIn campaign that targets a LinkedIn Campaign Manager account. The workflow pushes the accounts to LinkedIn, serves the ads for 45 days, then removes the same accounts from LinkedIn.

Prerequisites

  • Integration with LinkedIn.

  • A configured campaign in the LinkedIn Campaign Manager, with a Segment Alias (unique identifier for the audience). You must enter the Segment Alias in the 6sense node configuration, along with the name of your LinkedIn campaign.

Push Accounts to 6sense Display Ad Campaign template

Exports accounts to a 6sense display ad campaign, waits 45 days, then removes the accounts from the display ad campaign.

Prerequisites

  • A pre-existing, Conversational Email campaign that speaks to your use case and is dedicated to this workflow. You must do some additional configuration in the platform’s Ads section to finalize the campaign before you can publish the workflow.

  • A segment alias (unique identifier for the audience). You must enter the segment alias in the node properties.

Push Accounts to Google Campaign template

Exports accounts to a Google Ads campaign, waits 45 days, then removes the accounts from the Google Ads campaign.

Prerequisites

  • Integration with Google Ads.

  • A configured campaign in the Google Ads Campaign Manager, with a segment alias (unique identifier for the audience). You enter the segment alias in the node configuration, along with the name of your Google Ads campaign.

Push Accounts to Meta Campaign template

Exports accounts to a Facebook campaign, waits 45 days, then removes the accounts from the Facebook campaign.

Prerequisites

  • Integration with Meta Campaign Manager.

  • A configured campaign in the Meta Campaign Manager, with a segment alias (unique identifier for the audience). You enter the segment alias in the node configuration, along with the name of your Google Ads campaign.
