Emails sent by the AI Email (AIE) AI email agent are rate-limited to help comply with email provider API limits. There are hourly and daily limits, depending on the provider. Refer to AI Email Inbox Warming.

What happens when you schedule more than the limit

If you try to schedule more conversations than can be sent within the rate limits, for example by enrolling several thousand contacts at once, then AIE schedules the emails over several days.

AIE prioritizes sending emails as follows:

  1. Sends replies first.

  2. Sends initial emails for new enrollments based in the inbox warmup limit. Refer to AI Email Inbox Warming.

  3. Sends follow-ups for existing conversations last.

If the AI email agent has a full day of initial emails to send, any follow-ups will go out later in the day.

Find out when emails are scheduled

Scheduled emails display underneath sent and received emails on the Conversations page.

Only one scheduled follow-up is visible at a time, the rest are not scheduled until they are the next to send. This  prevents scheduled follow-ups from blocking new enrollments.
