Administrators manage user access to 6sense in the User Management settings.
Only Administrators can make changes in User Management.
Access the User Management settings
Go to Settings > User Management > Organization Users.
Invite users from your organization
To invite new organizational users:
Click the Invite User(s) button in the top right.

Select the User Role to assign to the users.

Enter one or more email addresses separated by commas. click Send invite(s).

Check user role status
Select All Status to see the status of your users. You can view users that have a pending invite by selecting Invited, or users whose invitation has expired by selecting Expired Invitation.

To resend invites to these users, select the ellipses button on the right of a user row and choose Resend Invite.

You can delete any user that are in “Invited” or “Expired” invitation status by selecting the ellipses button and choosing Delete Invite.
SSO steps for adding users
If your company would like to use Single-Sign-On (SSO), refer to Set Up Single Sign-On (SAML SSO).
Once users are enabled within their SSO IdP, then upon the first login to 6sense the user will appear in the User Management panel. After a user is present User Management, the Primary Admininstrator can assign them an appropriate role.
FAQ: user management
Who can update the role of an existing Admin? When an Admin tries to update another Admin’s role, they receive the error: "You don't have access to change ABM administrator role/status."
Based on the permission model, only the Primary Administrator can update the role or status of an existing Admin user. Non-primary Admins do not have sufficient permissions to modify Admin roles, which results in the above access error.

How do I assign the Administrator role to someone?
You must be a Primary Administrator to assign the Administrator role to anyone else.
What type of permissions are included in each of the user types?
For the current roles for your system, go to Settings > User Management > Roles and select the View Role Comparison Table. A diagram such as the one below shows the access permissions according to each user.


How long does an invited user have to respond to the invitation?
After being invited, a user received an email and the link will be valid for 14 days from the day the invitation was sent out.
