Learn what you need to do to enable EU Contact Data in 6sense Orchestrations, including UK and Swiss contact data.

Process Overview

Complete the following to enable EU Contact Data in 6sense Orchestrations:

  1. File a support ticket in RevCity.

  2. Update your terms with 6sense (if applicable).

  3. Consult with your privacy team.

  4. Review the Opt-Out List monthly.

1. File a Support Ticket in RevCity

To enable EU Contact Data in 6sense Orchestrations, you will need to file a support ticket in RevCity or reach out to your CSM:

  • Navigate to Support – RevCity by 6sense.

  • Fill in the relevant fields and indicate that you would like to enable EU Contact Data in your Orchestrations subscription.

2. Update Your Terms with 6sense (if Applicable)

Once we receive your request to enable EU Contact Data via Orchestrations, our team will check to see whether your company needs to execute additional paperwork enabling your access to EU Contact Data.

6sense has updated our online terms to reflect that EU Contact Data will now be available to customers subscribed to Orchestrations. We also added language requiring customers to review Privacy Opt-Outs.

If you are on online terms with 6sense (or otherwise have contract terms that cover 6sense’s provision of EU contact data), then no additional action is required for this step. If additional paperwork is required, then you will receive an email containing the EU Contact Document Package for review and execution.

3. Consult with your Privacy Team

6sense relies on legitimate interest for the provision of business contact data under the GDPR and 6sense provides applicable notices and opt-out rights to data subjects to the extent required by applicable law. Additionally, the contacts being provided to customers are not double opted in. Without offering legal advice, this means that customers may need to offer the contacts the right to “opt out” of or “opt in” to email marketing communications, depending upon the applicable jurisdiction, and ensure they use the contacts for lawful purposes.

It is each customer’s responsibility to determine its internal compliance processes with respect to your use of EU contact data. Customers may want to consider applicable opt-out, opt-in, or double opt-in requirements under the GDPR, the EU ePrivacy Directive, and other laws in the US that impact direct marketing such as CAN-SPAM.

4. Review the Opt-Out List

One you’re all set, your primary admin should review the Opt-Out List monthly.
