The AI Email (AIE) conversation quota is the number of conversations that can be started every month by an organization.

How conversation quota is consumed
Conversation quota is used when the intro email is sent to a contact in an active campaign. When a contact is added to a campaign, they’re queued for outreach by your AI email agent. These queued contacts are called scheduled conversations and temporarily reserve quota until their intro email is sent.
Example:
Total quota: 1,000
Started conversations: 700
Scheduled conversations: 300
Available quota: 0 (no new conversations can be scheduled)
The timing of intro emails depends on:
Campaign priority (standard vs. low priority)
Exceeded conversation quota
If your quota is fully used (started conversations + scheduled conversations = total quota), new contacts in active campaigns stay in pending enrollment until quota becomes available.
Quota becomes available when:
Scheduled conversations are sent and free up reserved quota
Your quota refreshes in the next monthly cycle
Contacts in pending enrollment automatically continue enrollment when quota becomes available. For more details, see Refer to AIE Enrollment Warnings and Errors.
Quota rollover and campaign priority
Any unused conversation quota from the previous month automatically rolls over and adds to your current month’s quota pool. Both standard and low-priority campaigns use this combined quota.
Low-priority campaigns
Low-priority campaigns let you deprioritize certain campaigns when multiple campaigns run at the same time.
How it works:
Emails from low-priority campaigns are sent after all standard-priority emails in the send queue.
Both campaign types share the same conversation quota pool, including any rolled-over quota from the previous month.
Best for nurture or evergreen campaigns where immediate sending isn’t critical.
To set a campaign to low priority:
Go to Campaigns > All campaigns.
Select the relevant campaign for edit.
Scroll to the Enroll contacts section.

Select Low priority. AIE immediately updates the campaign.
Low priority campaigns are marked with a down arrow (↓) icon next to the campaign title in your campaigns list.
