Setting up your AI email agent (formerly called the “AI assistant” or “AI inbox”) is a required step for enabling AI Email (AIE) campaigns. You can set up multiple AI email agents for different personas and campaigns.
Each AI email agent is associated with a single email inbox account on the configured email provider.
Prerequisites
Decide whether to use 6sense, Gmail, or Outlook 365 as the email provider for the email inbox account connected to an AI email agent. The email account sends and receives emails that are managed by the AI email agent.
If 6sense, refer to Set Up a 6sense Email Provider for AIE.
If Gmail or Outlook 365:
Gmail or Outlook 365 integration. Refer to Set Up a Gmail or Outlook Email Provider and Accounts for AIE.
An email account set up on the email provider. This account connects to your AI email agent for sending and receiving emails. Refer to Set Up a Gmail or Outlook Email Provider and Accounts for AIE.
Connect an email account to AIE
To connect an email account to AIE:
In AIE, go to AI inboxes. The list of AI email agents opens.
Select Add a new inbox. The create an inbox panel opens.
Select either 6sense, Google, or Outlook.
If not already done, an Administrator can set up the the email provider.

For Google or Outlook, refer to Set Up a Gmail or Outlook Email Provider and Accounts for AIE.
Select the email account to use with the AI email agent.
When using Outlook 365, if you get the error message “Need admin approval”, refer to the Outlook instructions at Set Up a Gmail or Outlook Email Provider for AIE.
Your new AI email agent displays in the All inboxes list.
After your email is connected, you can also customize the signature that will be appended to all outgoing emails.
