Re-engage leads from Salesforce

By integrating Salesforce with AIE, your marketing team can give your AI email agent qualified leads that have not been closed from your sales teams.

You can set up AIE to make sure all leads are being followed up by your AI email agent, maximizing their chance to be converted into a sales opportunity.

To automatically re-engage with website inbound leads, these are the high-level steps:

  1. Create a Salesforce report with filters to include leads from the website inbound form.

  2. Enroll the report to a Campaign in AIE using the Salesforce connection.

  3. Launch campaign to let the AI email agent send emails and qualify leads.

  4. Create another Salesforce report with filters to include leads that are reached out by the AI email agent and your sales team. Those leads should be the ones who have not been turned into sales opportunities yet.

  5. Enroll the new report in another AIE campaign.

Prerequisites

To enable AIE re-engagement with Salesforce, you must have the following requirements to first connect Salesforce to AIE:

  • A Salesforce account with admin permissions.

  • A Salesforce edition with API access, such as the Enterprise and Unlimited editions.

Note: There are 3 Salesforce editions that don’t have API access: Contact Edition, Group Edition, and Professional Edition. You can purchase API access as an add-on to the Professional Edition.

Connect a Salesforce report to an AIE campaign

  1. Integrate AIE with Salesforce and map the relevant fields.

  2. Set up a Salesforce report in Salesforce using the relevant filters.

  3. Connect a Salesforce report to an AIE campaign.

  4. Review results with the Salesforce lead table.

FAQ

Why do I see some leads with errors in my campaign using Salesforce report?

You might see leads with an import or enrollment error in the Salesforce review table when the AIE system is not able to enroll lead to the campaign. Refer to AIE – Salesforce Import and Enrollment Errors.

What happens to a campaign using Salesforce reports when my account runs out of quota?

AIE queue the leads from your reports and re-starts the conversation the next month when your account’s quota resets.

I have 2 AIE accounts connecting to the same Salesforce instance. How would this work?

You can enroll leads from your Salesforce to more than one AI email agent in AIE.

There is a chance a lead could be reached out to by 2 AI email agents at the same time. It might happen if a lead belongs to Salesforce reports used for both AI email agents.

We recommend that your campaign managers coordinate the report set up to avoid the situation.
