Q: What are 6sense purchase credits?
A: 6sense purchase credits are tokens that allow you to purchase contacts from the 6sense database through Orchestrations or the Legacy Sales Intelligence (SI) iFrame.
You can use 6sense purchase credits to:
Purchase contacts through the Acquire New Contacts orchestration.
Purchase contacts through the Legacy SI iFrame.
Q: How do I get these credits? What if I want additional credits?
A: Legacy contracts automatically get 5000 contact purchase credits when you sign up for the 6sense Orchestrations (Essentials package) with the option to purchase more credits.
Note that all new contracts will have a pool of credits that can be used for many different use cases, including contact purchasing, account creation, account/contact/lead enrichment, etc.
Purchase credits are allotted at an organizational (company) level. The amount of credits an organization receives is determined by the specific contract with 6sense. Credits expire as per the specific contract with 6sense.
The company’s 6sense administrator then allocates the credits among the licensed 6sense users of the company according to that company’s internal policies.
If an organizational user runs out of credits that user can ask the company’s administrator to allocate more credits to that user.
Q: How are purchase credits used?
A: We charge 1 purchase credit for 1 contact purchased either through Orchestrations or through the Legacy SI iFrame.
It costs 1 purchase credit to:
Obtain someone’s email address at a minimum, and phone number (if available).
Obtain company information.
Contract purchase history is tracked at the organizational level against the contractual quota.
Q: What happens if I try to purchase contacts but I’ve exhausted my purchase credits quota?
A: You will still be able to purchase contacts even if you have exhausted your contractual quota.
We will get in touch to true up or acquire more purchase credits.
To prevent purchases beyond your contractual quota, your 6sense administrator can cap the organizational contact purchase limit to the contractual quota.
Q: I think 6sense incorrectly charged me a credit. How can I get it reversed?
A: Put in a support ticket, and we will investigate the issue and contact you about the result by email. Make sure to add {{email address sender for support ticket responses}} to your email contact list so that responses are not sent to your junk email folder.

A+: Emails with an estimated <10% bounce rate. These have passed three levels of validation, and have highest deliverability.
A: Emails with an estimated 10-20% bounce rate. These have passed two levels of validation.
B: Emails with moderate confidence.
