Filter value sets are reusable custom lists of text field values to be used in segmentation. Filter value sets allow 6sense to repeatedly filter segments using large, predefined lists of text field values. Instead of manually pasting a lists into a filter, you can create a filter value set and use it in segments.
Filter value sets are available to all users who can create segments or SI filters. There are no private filter value sets.
For an overview refer to Filter Value Sets.
Prerequisites
6sense must be integrated with your CRM, either Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
The field for which you want to create a filter value set must be a text field.
Any Primary Administrator, Administrator, or Revenue Marketing or Sales Intelligence user can create a filter value set.
You must be the Primary Administrator, Administrator, or the creator (owner) of a filter value set to edit it.
Create a filter value set
Where you can create a filter value set depends on your user role permissions.
ABM > Segments: Any Revenue Marketing or Sales Intelligence user with access to ABM. Refer to Create a filter value set in Create Segments
SI > Filters: Any Sales Intelligence user. Refer to Create a filter value set in Sales Intelligence.
Settings > Data settings > Filter value sets: Only Administrators have access to Settings. Refer to Create a filter value set in Settings.
Tip: When you create a filter value set, include the CRM field name in the name of the set. That way it is easier for users to select the set that matches the CRM field.
Prepare a CSV file that includes the values
You can only create a filter value set by uploading a CSV file.
Prepare the value set CSV file with the following requirements:
Plain text values
Only one column
No header row
A comma at the end of each row’s entry
20,000 or fewer values (rows)
For example, the CSV contents would be like:
Value1,
Value2,
Value3,
Value4There’s a sample file you can download from the Create filter value set panel.
