Filter value sets are reusable custom lists of field values to be used in RevM segments and SI filtering for text fields in your CRM. Filter value sets allow 6sense to repeatedly filter segments or apply SI filters with large, predefined lists of CRM text field values. Instead of manually pasting a list every time, you can create a filter value set and reuse it.
Filter value sets:
Make large reusable value lists easy to centrally manage and update over time.
Reduce repetitive manual data entry.
Improve consistency across segments with centrally managed sets.
Enable you to configure large sets of filter values.
If you and your colleagues frequently reuse the same list of CRM values (such as account owners, territories, regions, or lifecycle stages), we suggest you create a filter value set that the whole team can use. Give it a descriptive name so that anyone who sees it as an option can easily understand what it contains.
Primary Administrators and Administrators can centrally maintain filter value sets over time to ensure that there is consistency across segments, reducing the need to manually change multiple segments when the lists in the sets need to be updated.
Filter value sets are available to all users who can create segments. (There are no private filter value sets.)
You can use more than one filter value set in a segment.
You create filter value sets by uploading a CSV file that contains the values relevant to the text field in your CRM.
Create and manage filter value sets
Where you can create a filter value set depends on your user role permissions.
ABM > Segments: Any Revenue Marketing (RevM) or Sales Intelligence (SI) user with access to ABM.
Settings > Data settings > Filter value sets: Any user can create, edit, duplicate, and delete filter value sets.
For details about how create and manage a filter value set, refer to Set Up Filter Value Sets.
