Enterprise grade sandbox

A connected, self-service Sandbox linked to your production instance. It gives you a separate environment to validate supported integrations, mappings, exports, and workflows before enabling changes in production.

  • Increase confidence and reduce risk before production activation.

    • Self-service creation: Create Sandbox directly from Settings > Organization Settings; available to Primary Admins.

    • Connected navigation: Move between Production and Sandbox through the app switcher

    • Production-managed membership: Add users to Sandbox from the Production instance with one membership control point.

    • Workflow promotion - Promote the Workflows created in Sandbox to Production, reducing the operational overhead

Mapping profiles enhancements

This release adds two enhancements to Mapping Profiles that reduce setup time and protect critical field data .

  • Mapping Profiles now expose default mappings for required fields on Account, Contact, and Lead objects when you create a new mapping profile. For CRM and MAP, these defaults are based on your inbound data mapping (Standardization) settings, so you're not building profiles from scratch. For SEP profiles, defaults are based on recommended mapping patterns, giving you a practical starting point .

  • A new "Do not update' rule for mapping profiles stops 6sense from updating a mapped mandatory field under any condition, even if empty.

Value:

  • Reduce manual mapping time during onboarding and integration setup.

  • Use automated default mappings for Contact, Lead, and Account instead of building from scratch.

  • Prevent overwrites of required CRM/MAP fields with a new "Do not update" option.

Sales Intelligence

SI support for sandbox exports

The Sales Intelligence export actions Account, Contact, and Lead writes can now be tested in a sandbox path inside the customer's production 6sense org before enabling them against production CRM/MAP/SEP systems. Located in the SI export setup menu, this removes the previous choice of risking production data or delaying activation.

Value:

  • Validate SI export permissions and field mappings risk-free before going live.

  • Meet internal governance and compliance requirements for sandbox validation.

  • Reduce production write failures and rollback requests after activation.
