Q: Who is this change intended for?
A: The platform is changing for all the customers/users across all the packages.
Q: What is changing in the new navigation panel?
A: Several things are changing:
Look and Feel: The look and feel of the left navigation has been updated.
Navigation Icons: The navigation icons have been replaced with new ones.
App Launcher: We have introduced a 9-dot icon to launch 6sense apps.
Settings Icon Move: The Settings icon has moved to the bottom left corner.
Q: Will the platform-only customers with Sales Intelligence see the app launcher?
A: The app launcher access is managed at the user level, so if the user has SI app access, the launcher will show up with the SI app icon under launch section
Q: If existing customers have not migrated to the new Sales app and are using the iframe, will they see Sales Intelligence in the app launcher?
A: The customers who have not migrated to the new app will not see the SI icon under the app launcher. Only the customers with the new Sales App will be able to access the link under the app launcher.
Q: Who will see the Discover section in the app launcher?
A: The app launcher access is managed at the user level and is for customers having Sales intelligence or Pipeline Intelligence. With the April 2023 release, we’ll have a “Discover” section within the app launcher.
The scenarios in which the discover section in the app launcher will show up:
If a customer only has Sales intelligence (SI) but not Pipeline Intelligence (PI), then a user will see PI app in the discover section of the launcher.
If a customer only has Pipeline intelligence (PI) but not Sales Intelligence (SI), then a user will see SI app in the discover section of the launcher.
If a customer does not have either SI or PI, then the a user will see both apps in the discover section of the launcher.
The scenarios in which the app launcher won’t show up:
If a customer has Sales intelligence and Pipeline Intelligence, but the user does not have permission.
