Q: What features does LinkedIn Advertising currently support?

A: 6sense LinkedIn Advertising provides limited but focused setup controls to allow effective ABM targeting through top and mid-funnel campaigns.

Customers can reach their buyer prospects with sponsored content single image ads to maximize user attention to their brands and drive awareness.

Q: What are sponsored LinkedIn Ads?

A: Sponsored Content ad formats deliver native ads to the LinkedIn feed of members in your target audience. See LinkedIn Help.

Q: What Sponsored Ad formats are supported by 6sense LinkedIn Advertising?

A: Currently, 6sense supports Single Image Ad format. See LinkedIn Help.

Q: What do I need in order to integrate LinkedIn Advertising within 6sense platform?

A: Before you start:

  • Ensure you have a LinkedIn Business Manager Account within LinkedIn.

  • Ensure you have a LinkedIn Business Page to share with 6sense Advertising.

  • You must have at least one Single Image Ad ready for use that meets LinkedIn’s ad specifications.

  • The account list segment you want to use should have at least 300 matching LinkedIn member profiles. If after the campaign creation, the segment is unable to fetch a minimum of 300 LinkedIn profiles, you will not be able to launch the campaign.

Q: How do I run Sponsored Content on LinkedIn through 6sense advertising?

A: See LinkedIn Advertising.

Q: How do I grant 6sense the Sponsored Content Poster access?

A: After clicking Send Request for Poster access for your LinkedIn company page, your LinkedIn Administrator receives a request from the 6sense account.

  • If you are not the Administrator of your business LinkedIn account, reach out to your Administrator to approve our request.

  • If you are the Administrator of your LinkedIn business account, sign in to LinkedIn to approve the request from 6sense:

    • Go to Admin tools > Admin Roles > Pending admin requests.

    • Click Accept to grant access to 6sense to be your sponsored content poster.

Q: Will my LinkedIn company page be spammed with sponsored ads?

A: No. Sponsored content ad will not appear as a post on the LinkedIn page that is shared with 6sense. It will not spam the pages of the followers. It will be a more personalized ad to the defined target audience segment. For example: Show specific content to just audiences from a particular country or from a particular department, or audiences who have specific roles, etc.

Q: Where will the sponsored content ad appear?

A: The target audience (when qualified) sees the sponsored content (generated from the LinkedIn page) in their LinkedIn feed.

Q: Will 6sense use my LinkedIn campaign manager?

A: No. Your company’s LinkedIn page URL acts as a customer to 6sense and 6sense does not have access to your own LinkedIn campaign manager or other LinkedIn company pages.

Q: What is the minimum LinkedIn Audience requirement for launching campaigns?

A: LinkedIn campaigns require a minimum of 300 people matched from an account list to create a matched audience. LinkedIn generally recommends an audience size of at least 1,000 accounts, but 6sense customers have seen success with smaller Segments, especially of larger accounts.

Q: Do we have the option to preview the LinkedIn Ads?

A: Yes. You can preview the LinkedIn Ads to see how they are displayed in a live environment. Follow these steps:

  1. On the Advertising Dashboard click on the LinkedIn Native Campaign for which you wish to preview the ads.

  2. Navigate to the Ads Tab.

  3. Select the ad for which you wish to view the preview and click Preview Post in LinkedIn.

Note: The actual display of your ad may vary from this preview based on device, system preferences, and other factors.

Q: What are the various LinkedIn Native Campaign objectives supported by 6sense?

A: Currently 6sense supports Awareness and Consideration Objectives.

Q: What happens if I accidentally selected the bidding type as CPM instead of CPC? Is there a way for to update this?

A: Modifying the bidding type after the campaign has been launched is not feasible. You will need to create a new campaign and adjust the Bidding Type according to your requirements. Additionally, it is advisable to pause the campaign with the CPM model if you do not intend for it to continue running.

Q: Can I target multiple countries in a single campaign?

A: Currently, no. LinkedIn’s reporting engine and API is currently restricted to single demographic factor pivots.

To properly see the account-level performance for a campaign in 6sense’s platform it is important to set your campaigns in LinkedIn to target audiences by a single country per campaign.

Q: What does ‘Below reporting minimum’ mean, under account-level reporting?

A: LinkedIn sets a minimum requirement of three actions to show a demographic statistic. In 6sense’s reporting view, this means that for any statistic to show for an individual account, there must be at least three actions attributed to that account. Any time there are less than three actions recorded a “Below Reporting Minimum” message will show for the given statistic.

Campaign-level performance figures display an accurate total.

Example:

  • Acme Corp. has two clicks in your campaign by day 7 – a “Below Reporting Minimum” is shown.

  • Acme Corp. has six clicks in your campaign by day 10 – six clicks will be shown for Acme Corp.

  • The campaign-level total click value reflects the actual # of clicks.

Q: Do my colleagues have to re-initiate the LinkedIn integration to run campaigns?

A: No. After your company’s LinkedIn page is integrated, anyone from your organization who has registered access to the 6sense platform can start launching campaigns.

Q: What are the costs associated with running LinkedIn Advertising campaigns on 6sense?

A: Campaign spend for Ads include third party media costs, 6sense fees for Ads Services and data (“Ad Services Fee”), and any add on fees for optional or premium services and data as selected by Customer and reflected in the feature software interface, reports, and invoices (“Campaign Fees”).

Customers are obligated to pay Campaign Fees only for Ads that 6sense actually serves. 6sense may advance Campaign Fees on behalf of Customer and/or request upfront payment of estimated Campaign Fees subject to Customer credit information or if Customer is in arrears on any amounts due hereunder.

With respect to Ad Services where Customers can serve Ads via Campaigns configured on the 6sense Platform for LinkedIn, the 6sense Ad Services Fee is 15% of the total Campaign Fees spend (e.g., 15% of the Customer’s effective CPM, which may be lower than the max CPM entered by the Customer within the campaign configuration based on Ads actually served).

Q: Do I get charged for using 6sense segments for running native LinkedIn Advertising campaigns on the 6sense platform?

A: No, 6sense Insights Inc. doesn’t charge for using 6sense Segments for running native Linkedin Advertising campaigns created directly from the 6sense platform. You either pay for Segment syncs when using 6sense Segments for Linkedin or campaign fees when using native Linkedin Advertising. Customers will never be double-charged.

Q: What are the Objectives Supported by LinkedIn Native?

A: There are different objectives which are supported by LinkedIn. However, currently, 6sense only supports Brand Awareness and Consideration.
