Delivering on the RevTech Revolution promise, 6sense continues to combine multiple intent data sources — including our proprietary keyword-based intent — to enable advanced segmentation, create engaging customer experiences and allow B2B teams to predictably deliver on revenue targets.
G2 is a software review site and provider of intent data. Buyers read reviews and compare products to evaluate purchase decisions, indicating buying intent. Intent helps companies understand buyer journeys and which accounts have the highest likelihood of purchasing. G2 intent data is derived from profile visits, sponsored content visits, category page visits, competitor page visits, and alternative page visits on G2.com.
The integration with 6sense makes intent data from G2 readily available to include when building 6sense segments for mutual customers that have paid G2 buyer intent subscriptions.
G2 subscription requires that you be a G2 Pro, Power, or Power+ customer with access to Buyer Intent.
Value Specific to 6sense Customers
Differentiators:
- 6sense is the only ABM solution which supports multiple products and multiple categories of intent data from G2.
- 6sense is the only ABM solution which provides a one click seamless and secure activation via OAuth to integrate your buyer intent data into the 6sense platform.
With 6sense, data across platforms and sources is consolidated in a single place. The 6sense integration ensures G2 data is readily available seamlessly and securely via OAuth and is actionable with insights provided to properly engage accounts given the buying stage. Built-in account fit functionality allows for the best use of data, in more ways, across teams, making prioritization and optimization possible. Engage the right accounts in the best way without wasting resources pursuing accounts that may show interest in your brand but are not an ICP fit for your solution. Target based on intent with precision, at scale, with 6sense and G2.
Imagine all of your engagement, intent, and predictive data available in a single platform. With 6sense, you can now orchestrate all your signals and insights, making the data more actionable than ever before.
For example:
- Automatically source missing contacts at accounts showing intent and push contacts and insights directly to a sales engagement platform to streamline prospecting.
- Identify the best message and instantly launch marketing and advertising programs to accounts based on intent.
- Prioritize accounts based on how valuable each one is to your business.

FAQ
Q: Do I need to have a G2 Buyer Intent data subscription to access the G2 data in the 6sense platform?
A: Yes, one of the main prerequisites for this integration is that the customer should have a G2 Buyer Intent subscription. While 6sense doesn’t restrict users from signing in, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have a buyer intent subscription so that G2 data can be leveraged in the 6sense platform.
Q: Is G2 data visible on the 6sense dashboard for legacy ABM customers?
A: No, currently, G2 data is only displayed on the Revenue AI for Sales platform, available to Growth, Enterprise, and Enterprise Lite packages.
Q: How frequently is G2 activity data updated in the 6sense platform?
A: G2 data is added to your 6sense organization daily. The last G2 data file push can be viewed on the manage page of the 6sense<>G2 integrations UI.
Q: After integrating with the G2 platform, what happens if I sign out in the connect step of the G2 integration in the 6sense integration UI?
A: 6sense will wipe out all subscribed G2 activity data from the 6sense platform.
Q: What happens to my G2 data if I log out and a new user connects with the 6sense platform?
A: G2 follows a policy of providing the past 60 days of historical data to its users, and then sends daily updates. When a user first registers with 6sense, they will receive data from the previous 60 days. However, if a user logs out, their data is removed from 6sense.
The following scenarios apply for data retrieval upon logging back in:
- If the same user re-logs in within 60 days, they will only receive the data for the period they were logged out
- If the same user re-logs in after 60 days, they will receive data from the last 60 days.
- These rules also apply to any user who logs in after a different user has logged in; they will be subject to the same data retrieval policies
Q: Once I integrate, how much time it will take to see that G2 data in the 6sense platform?
A: After a new user is connected, G2 will send the data within a 72-hour timeframe.
