Some website speed analyzers might highlight that your website load time has increased with the 6sense WebTag. To assure you, webtag has no impact on your website performance. Webtag JavaScript runs asynchronously, which means that it runs in parallel to any other code on the website and does not hold anything up.
Let’s go deep into the “Network tab of the Developer Console” where you will see all the WebTag events for other event types.
You will notice that GIF images are loading multiple times. This image is a result of an Event called active_time_track.
active_time_track Event is bound to load constantly because this is collecting data about active and passive time spent on the page. This is a normal behavior and data is recorded against the visitor’s time-tracking.
This is a mandatory feature of webtag and can’t be turned off. Please rest assured that your website performance is intact with 6sense webtag.
