FAQ: Data Flagging

What is the Data Flagging feature?

Data flagging allows you to flag firmographic data that the user believes is incorrect. You can flag the account name, employee range, industry, website, revenue range, and location, as well as provide any additional comments.

What happens after I flag the data?

6sense adds the results to a backlog and evaluates it on an ongoing basis.

Can I submit feedback more than once?

You can submit feedback more than once, but the same feedback will be recorded with your user log in. If you change your mind, you can add new feedback.

How soon will the data be updated?

6sense machine learning constantly evaluates our data to present you with the best possible results.

What am I supposed to put in the comment box?

The comment box is optional. You can submit what you think is the right firmographic value, explain why you think the data is bad, or simply leave it blank. The comments are very helpful for the 6sense Data Team to troubleshoot and improve our algorithms, but are not required. The comment box is limited to 256 characters.

Is a human going to review my responses?

Yes. The 6sense Data Team reviews the comments and flagged data to help update the algorithm. However, at this moment 6sense is not able to respond to updates on one off data requests.

Is this how 6sense sources all of its data?

No. 6sense partners with its data vendors as well as your organization’s CRM/MAP to provide you with data specific to your organization. Sometimes the data is not always correct, and this feature allows the user to provide feedback and help 6sense improve.

Can I flag the firmographic data in Sales Intelligence?

Yes, in addition to the ABM Platform, this feature is also available for Sales Intelligence.
