Data Workflows

Discover the Power of Effortless Troubleshooting: Revolutionize Your Workflow!

Enhanced Data Workflow Status Labels and performance details page updates

Run Status Labels

  • Previously, Data Workflows marked an entire workflow play as “failed” if a single record encountered an error

  • Moving forward, we will properly define & label a “failed” workflow play as follows:

    • Failed: Workflow execution never started

    • Completed (red): Any other failures apart from above including Node level failures and Record level failures

    • Completed (green): No failures at all (i.e., no records in errors tab as well).

    • Completed (green timer): Workflow is waiting on timer node, no errors found

    • Completed (red timer): Workflow is waiting on timer node, errors found

    • In progress: Workflow is in progress

New “Skipped” tab in Performance Details view

  • Performance details page will now provide a separate section for “Skipped” records during Enrichment activities

    • Skips refer to an entire record (all fields) being skipped as part of enrichment. These records were “skipped” as Workflows found the existing field level data was no different than the data 6sense would have pushed in the enrichment process.

  • Previously, skips were included in the “errors” section, greatly inflating the number of errors shown.

    • This is inaccurate, as “errors” refer to a workflow or destination system (CRM or MAP) failure, while skipped does not contain an actual failure

New Robust Preview Mode

Operations users want to see which and how many records a workflow play will impact before clicking “Run.”

  • Easy to discover dedicated preview button above the canvas (top-right)

  • Preview Mode highlights the nodes that you can preview

  • Preview is generated for all supported nodes at the same time. Previously, previews were only viewable for one node per preview generation.

  • Email is sent upon Preview completion. Previews can take some time to generate if there are a lot of records to process. This gives customers the opportunity to go on-to other tasks and wait for the Email notification to check out the results.
