After the administrative steps for setting up Conversational Email (CE), there are a few preparation tasks that apply to all campaigns.

  1. Set up sales team routing

  2. Set up email or domain suppression lists

  3. Update the AI Writer’s content samples

After campaign preparation is complete, your users can start creating campaigns. Refer to Create a Campaign in CE.

Step 1: Set up sales team routing

You can distribute new qualified contacts in each campaign evenly among your sales team. You can also route qualified conversations round-robin style on each campaign, so they’re assigned on a rotating basis to an available sales rep.

Step 3: Update the AI Writer’s content samples

You can train the AI Writer to write emails using your company’s tone of voice and incorporate relevant talking points. This helps ensure that your emails are always on-brand and effective.

To train the AI Writer, go to Main Menu > AI Writer > Knowledge base.
