Data Workflows supports using Sales Intelligence (SI) people lists and filters in start and decision nodes, rather than pulling people based on segments.
You can take audiences you have already curated in SI and operationalize them through a workflow. You do not need to recreate SI audiences using segments or manual filters in workflows.
You can:
Start workflows directly from SI's Account or People tab lists and Discovery or Dashboard page filters.
Use SI list and filter sources across supported enrichment and purchase workflows.
The configured workflow dynamically references the latest list or filter results in subsequent workflow runs.
Example of how to create and use a start node from an SI list for account enrichment
For example, if you want to enrich an account based on an SI list, you can make the list in SI and use a workflow to enrich your CRM.
This example assumes you have some familiarity with SI lists and Data Workflows.
Example Prerequisites
Integration with a CRM.
A CRM mapping profile for the fields you will use. Refer to Create CRM Mapping Profiles for SI.
Workflows enrichment credits.
Create an SI list
You can create a list in the web application or the Chrome extension.
Create a list in the SI web application
In SI, go to Lists > Curation or Enrichment and select Create list. Create the list from filters and select Add to List. Refer to Sales Intelligence List Management.
Create a list in the SI Chrome extension
In the Chrome extension, choose a person and select Add to List. In the popup, create a new list by entering a new name for the list, and select Add to List. Refer to Manage Lists from the SI Extension for Chrome.
Create the workflow
In Data Workflows, select Create and use the Enrich CRM Accounts from an SI List template. When you define the workflow properties, select the SI list you want to use.
We suggest you run a preview of the workflow to check it.
For more information about creating Data Workflows refer to Data Workflows Overview.
Example of how to create and use a start node from an SI filter for contact enrichment
For example, if you want to enrich (acquire) contacts based on job seniority and location, you can make a list in SI and use a workflow to push those contacts into your CRM.
This example assumes you have some familiarity with SI filters and Data Workflows.
Example Prerequisites
Integration with a CRM.
A CRM mapping profile for the fields you will use. Refer to Create CRM Mapping Profiles for SI.
Workflow credits for enrichment.
Create an SI filter
In SI, go to Discovery > People or Accounts and select filters. Select the Save icon to name and save the filter. Refer to Getting Started with Discovery Filters (Sales Intelligence)
For example, you can filter on buying stage and seniority.
Tip: Alternatively, you can select from the filter results and select Add to List to create a list to be used in a start node.
Create the workflow
In Data Workflows, select Create and use the Enrich CRM Accounts from an SI Filter template. When you define the workflow properties, you use the SI filter you previously created.

In the Enrich Contacts node properties, be sure to specify the mapping profile.

We suggest you run a preview of the workflow to check it.
For more information about creating Data Workflows refer to Data Workflows Overview.
Support for SI lists and filters in other nodes
All existing workflow nodes support input based on SI filters. This includes:
Create nodes: Works with SI-sourced data
Enrich nodes: Enriches records sourced from SI filters
Purchase nodes: Purchases contacts from SI-sourced data
Update nodes: Updates records from SI-sourced data
Decision nodes: Supports filter-based decisions similar to segments
Job Change nodes: Handles job change detection from SI sources
Lead-to-Account Match nodes: Matches leads to accounts from SI-sourced data
Templates with SI nodes
Data Workflows also provides templates for SI list or filter node use cases.
To browse the templates, go to Data Workflows > Data Workflows > Create and search for “SI”.
For a list of templates refer to Data Workflows Use Case Templates.
