The 6sense team works closely with you to set up your 6sense environment. While every customer environment is unique, some common integration and setup activities apply to most.

Initial setup and administration
The 6sense team sets up your 6sense instance on a domain, typically company-name.6sense.com. The team meets with you to decide your domain name and assist with additional setup tasks.
In addition to reviewing the documentation listed below, we encourage you to take advantage of the 6sense Academy, which has an Admin/Onboarding track along with 6sense Certifications.
Primary Administrator onboarding tasks
We assign a Primary Administrator from your company to manage the environment. Your Primary Administrator is the first to be invited to the 6sense platform. Typical duties of a Primary Administrator include:
- Adding additional Administrator and user accounts. 
- Installing the 6sense WebTag. 
- Integrating your CRM, MAP, or SEP applications. 
- Standardizing how CRM or MAP fields map to 6sense fields. 
- Setting your company’s fiscal year. 
- Setting security options such as single sign-on (SSO). 
- Distributing credits between 6sense products. 
- Providing a 6sense contact with access to your 6sense instance for troubleshooting activities. 
- Receiving system generated notifications on an ongoing basis for events that require action, such as credential expirations and API limits.

Revenue Marketing Administrator onboarding tasks
The Primary Administrator assigns one or more Marketing Administrators to manage the Revenue Marketing platform, including ad campaigns and workflows. Typical duties of a Marketing Administrator include:
- Specifying keywords specific to your company’s business. 
- Creating mapping profiles that support specific enrichment, new account creation, and other Audience or Data Workflows that sync data between 6sense and your CRM, MAP, or SEP. 
- Creating segments - lists of accounts - to use in your Advertising campaigns. 
- Specify your contact consent settings for Advertising campaigns. 
- Optionally setting up support for smart form fills. 
- Allocating credits to users that can be consumed to purchase or enrich accounts, contacts, or leads in workflows. 
- If you purchased the Predictive add-on, you work with us to set up your company’s data model or models, including the data taxonomy and relevant opportunity definition. 
Sales Intelligence Administrator onboarding tasks
The Primary Administrator assigns one or more Sales Intelligence (SI) Administrators to manage the SI platform, including ad campaigns and workflows. Typical duties of an SI Administrator include:
- Specifying keywords specific to your company’s business. 
- Creating mapping profiles that ensures fields being updated when purchasing or enriching accounts align with the fields or record objects being created or revised in your connected CRM. 
- Setting up relevant job titles, technologies, and psychographics to provide additional insights on prospect accounts. 
- Setting up alerts so your team will be notified when accounts meet specific criteria. 
- Allocating SI credits to users that can be consumed to purchase or enrich accounts, contacts, or leads.

AI Email Administrator onboarding tasks
6sense assigns an AI Email (AIE) Administrator from your team. Typical duties of an AI Email Administrator includes:
- Adding AIE team users who can create email campaigns. 
- Integrating with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM.
